I wrote the other day about an opportunity I had recently to catch up with a person I've known for much of the 4 decades we've both worked in wine production.

During this encounter I learned something new - his occupation before he went to UC Davis to study enology was as a bagpipe player on cruise ships.

I would have never guessed this, and I remain delighted every time I think about it now. Not sure how this work history might shape a health profile you might build for him.

I’d inquire about hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and probably alcohol use, but more likely I’d consider him a naturally inquisitive, curious person. That’s a person who actively participates in their own healthcare.

It seems as though kickboxing, has taken the place of Whac-a-Mole for dealing with frustration! And, yes, I’m looking into it

No, America is not great again yet but I have not given up on it (at least not today). There are so many good, kind, thoughtful people out there. I think they will prevail but we have to get through the hard stuff first.

I like listening to people talk about their work. Frankly, I like engaging people in any kind of conversation (except I don't want to talk... I just want to listen). I can always find some kind of connection.

We’d be fine if the good people would stop looking the other way…

Thanks for checking - still here - not sure at all about the "greatness" yet. My well pump took a dump a couple nights ago so, I guess getting it replaced and having water again - well, thats pretty great!

Nice to hear from you.
